Plate in bone china, 22 cm in diameter. Manufactured exclusively for Plurr by the distinguished Gustavsberg Porcelain Factory, on the island of Värmdö, situated in the Stockholm archipelago.

The common reed (Phragmites) is a large perennial grass. In Scandinavia the reed can grow as high as four metres and the leaves are approximately 50 cm in length. Ash from the reed can be used as fertiliser, the roots can be either eaten raw or cooked and it can be harvested throughout the year. In a survival situation the common reed is also classed as one of the 14 most important plants in Sweden.

Bone china is not oven-proof but is suitable for both dishwashers and microwave ovens.
