My name is Celine Strombäck. I study product design at Beckmans Collage of design in Stockholm, Sweden. I am inspired by objects I find, patterns and details in my surroundings. Materials and it's abilities fascinate me and exploring a new material is often the start of a new design process for me. I create my jewellery pieces with mainly recycled components. Often from computers and servers which has been outdated but instead of being thrown away I use the parts for jewellery. I cast the components into epoxy resin, a transparent glas-like material. Except epoxy I also work with glas, clay, metal and leather. The most important thing with a piece of jewellery is that it is interesting, has personality and creates curiosity.
